Ben,
First off, welcome to the boards! Next, we need pictures of your boat and lastly, I got everything I needed for the bow rails at West Marine.
On my current boat, here is how the bow rail looked when I got it-

After a couple of little mods to the front, it now looks like this-

it makes it much easier for people to get in and out of the boat when we're playing around on shore. Also, since the rail that came with the boat is stainless steel, I didn't have to buy the rail, only the rail bases. West Marine does have the tubing in both stainless and aluminum along with a couple of sizes in the rail bases. I stuck with the low profile rail bases for my boat.

If you're looking for used, it's just a matter of being patient and keeping your eyes open until something shows up.

I like the way yours came out Cas, with the open bow layout of your boat, it sure makes a lot more sense then a complete rail!

If you have no rail now and theres no holes in your deck now the one I have on the blue and pink boat would work nice. It is mounted by drilling holes in the deck and the nuts on the bottom side.It is a two peace that joins at the point ,that is the only part that separates

Ben,
I have to apologize to you. A setting was changed so the first 5 posts of a new member were not showing up until they were approved by an Admin and for some reason, I wasn't being notified. Anyway, it's changed back to normal so you're good to go and your posts will now show up.

If he like the open point like cas has he could cut off the point to the next pod and leave about a inch of the rail and buy two stainless end caps and then it would be open in the front just a thought

Ben this boat just came into a friends shop yesterday and this rail is just like your dads and Kris big and naztys boat. Its all stainless and each and every peice can be taking apart so if you didnt live close it could be easyly ship . In the pic, there is in the left side of the rail a dent in the rail . There looking for a new peace to replace it .This guy is removing this to install popup cleats instead of the rail .
