At Lake Hogoan WOT I hit 56 MPH @ 5400 RPMS Thats were I had my rev limiter set because of the new motor
By the numbers I am hitting around 557 hp @ 5500 rpms and 581 tq @ 5000 rpms.
So I'm right there in the correct range i just need better / efficient / thrust out of the pump

Wow, ("I am hitting around 557 hp @ 5500 rpms") Thats a lot of beef! thats great. I have not radared or gps'd mine yet so its only an estimate, but mine spins 5400 to 5500 WOT and water speedo says a tad over 60 but who knows really

Kris, heres a couple of pics of the small exit housing wiege I am running. It seemed to help out of the hole.

I just removed the steering nozzle and shaped it to fit snug. then on top drilled 2 small 5/16" holes and countersunk, then drill and tapped the inert itself (5/16" course thread) use a couple countersunk stainless allen bolts to keep it there, I did have to trim the steering nozzle slightly to clear.

I'm slacking, I just now noticed these pictures
Your wedge appears to be in the same location of the nozzle blocks. Did you notice any difference?

btw, I just found a pair of the Panther nozzle blocks if either of you guys wants to give them a try.

I have had my little plate in for quite some time. As I recall it just dropped the roost a little also. I may pop it out before a river run im going on tuesday. have a friend with a few guys in from India Im gonna take for a spin on the Sac river. They have only seen pics of a jet boat, never even sat in one. should prove pretty fun! I will definately take a couple pics. SMac

I just reread this thread, and realized I never finished the post. after removing the plate I had in my pump the time out of the hole picked up. I think this is probably do to having a sleeved pump behind it. when I did this mod. My pump was all aluminum and had about a .040" gap all the way around the imeller now it is at about .012".
