And if it just a couple of miles past Wimpy's it will be easy to get there and back. We can also stop at that little beach on the right on the way back a couple of miles below Wimpys. And if the tide is down a little we can get in at the island on the way up. Should someone warn them?

Well we can either take the river straight up and cross over at Wimpy's or we can head west out of Tower Park and take the North Moke straight to Guisti's. Either way is fine by me...although I'm kinda partial to the North Moke route.

I'll be going up the Moke. Thats the route pretty much everyone takes to wimpis or to the beach/sandbar aria on the way to wimpis. Plus its a nice, easy relaxing ride that way.

Just did the Viera's to Walnut Grove, to Wimpy's, to Tower Park run. There are some new beaches, and lots nicer than the ones we have been using. We can go through the locks and on down to Rio Vista. Lots of good beaches there.
My brother's place is about 1 mile south of the Ryde hotel, Has room on his dock for about 6 boats. we can raid his fridge while were there.

Yeah that's the South Moke. I was referring to heading west right out of Tower Park, then shootin' up the North Moke. For anyone wanting to do a bit of a cruise before heading to Guisti's I'm down to lead a run up Georgiana Slough up into the Sac River, then come back down through the locks. billet racing wrote: Just did the Viera's to Walnut Grove, to Wimpy's, to Tower Park run. Now THAT sounds like fun right there! Then maybe we come back via Three Mile Slough and stop at Outriggers?

I'm good with any course you want to take. Just keep me out of shallow water since I have a prop dragging underneath the boat.

So far I've never had a problem. Actually I've had less problems that a few of the jets around the seaweed. But I know there are some ares that can be hazerdous.
