If you're just coming for the day, here's a little advise....get there early and launch your boat! The launch ramp at Tower Park is only 2 boats wide and that's if everyone knows what their doing. There has been times in the past where you could have a 2 hour wait to get both in and out of the water.

:taz: Shoot Steve! Does that mean I shouldn't even bother trying to launch if I get there friday in the evening? Would it behoove me to just take part in shore celebrations that night and wait for saturday to play? :drive:

Or, just drive up the road to B&W resort, launch there and haul ass back to tower in the water.......How is everybody going to get there boat in the water in time for the runs? Do you guys leave the boats in the water for the weekend? Does Tower Park hold them for you in the water? I like B&W launching way better than Tower Park. Last time I was at Tower Park the ramp was very steep! I lived on the Georgiana slough for 5 yrs, just down from B&W resort....But that was back when they built the new bridge at tower.

Anyone who will be at the camp sites. I am coming friday night from Redding. :chevy: My names Brody and I need a call person that will be up a bit later in the evening :bbq: PM me so I can have a reference to call if I get lost in the dark coming there. I am leaving redding at 7 after work, so I don't expect to be there before 11 I'm thinkin. This is my first run there, my online stuff said like 3.5 hours so i figure with boat and firday night dinner traffic I'd be lookin more at 4 to 5 hours travel. Any takers for estimated travel time and contact please PM me before friday! Thanks and one way or another I will be there friday night and setting up for an awsome weekend! :drive:

Not sure I will be in any condition to help guide you in but my cell number is 530-632-8409. If I can't someone will be close by that can, maybe.

Brody,
I think Byron makes it in that 3.5 hour time frame so it may not be as bad as you think. In any case, I'm sure I'll be awake to lend a hand. Do you have my cell number?

Yeah we make it to Tiki/Windmill in 3.5 so TP is closer to 3 for us. Brody, my cell is 530-351-3900. Give me a call if you need anything and call me when you get off the exit at hwy 12 and i'll help you out getting setup.
