Hey Everyone. I'm considering a possible business endeavor that I would like your feedback on. I have been getting a lot of positive feedback so far on my "Panthervator Coversion" from a number of people at SoCal JetBoats Forum as well as Here at LBBA. So after I get some more seat time in my boat and see if there are any other little revisions I need to do before I call it done. I may go ahead and look for a bench top style mill, and look into setting up shop to perform my "Panthervator Conversion" on peoples Panther exit housings. If I can purchase the bronze actuator piece, actuator lever, and swivel pin reasonably enough from Panther. Maybe even the Stainless Tube insert as well. Just 1/2" longer. I think I could the complete machining and assembly in 4 to 6 hours per unit. Including the steering stops. and the spacer to raise the steering nozzle for max rooster!
What do you guys think?

I think the second one is always easier. That and the fact that you have done all this work designing and more testing you might as well get something out of it. How much is a bench top mill? That would be a big deciding factor.
