Need a couple BBC parts Found 'em,THANKS ALL

hey guys, almost finished assembling this 454 for my neighbor. Looking for a used Prestolite distributor, water outlet for a jet (T-stat hsng.) maybe a cheap flexplate. Its a budget build. thanks SMac :)

Steve, I think I have a flexplate in the garage....I look tomorrow.....Are you going to melonies? If I have it, Ill give it to you! :chevy:

Thanks Jeff, that would be kool. My nabe could use a little help getting his barge finished. I'm not sure if I'm going or not. However, if Scott is bringing you an Intake, I would just have you pass it to him, If I can't make it. He lives about 1/2 mile from me! :cool1:

I may have a t-stat housing and I have a warped SFI flex plate. The flex plate works great unless the damn engine stops at the warped spot so the starter won't engage properly :P

no excuse Stevemac I'd like to see our 2 boats run side by side. Oh I guess this is a challenge your pump mods aginst my motor mods

I have a dual point mallory that came out of my engine when changed to eletronic the guy I got my boat from said it was only 1 yr old but would need roader and cap and also have T-stat hsng what else my friend

Thanks Cas, but I'll pass on the flex plate. LOL! Kris, I defianatly want to run our boats! :cool1: :drive: :hop1: (list, take out spare battery, clear out everything under the bow, umm...only 5 gals of gas, leave off big engine cover, that should help. :lol: )

Ok, about have this motor together. anyone have a BBC PTO flange laying around. the one that was in the boat is for a ford or olds I think, its huge!
